Challenge
The campaign needed to deliver massive reach within a 28-day election window, competing against multiple well-funded political players all targeting the same Bihar voter base simultaneously.
Breaking through political ad saturation demanded hyper-focused demographic targeting — specifically males aged 25–34 — while maintaining culturally resonant, Hindi-language messaging across all digital platforms.
Process
Built a full-fledged Google Ads ecosystem using YouTube in-stream ads, discovery ads, and display campaigns — ensuring visibility across YouTube feeds, video placements, and the Google Display Network simultaneously for maximum surface-area coverage.
Refined audience targeting through demographic segmentation — age, gender, household income, and parental status — to prioritise high-performing cohorts. Hindi-language video ads, banners, and posters were aligned with the campaign's core message: "सुनहरा कल, मजबूत बिहार — फिर NDA सरकार."
Combined paid promotion with organic YouTube growth to drive key videos to multi-million views, creating a compounding visibility loop. The Display Network expanded reach into lower-income audience segments with high engagement potential.
Throughout Oct 12 – Nov 8, performance was continuously monitored with real-time budget reallocation toward top-performing creatives and audience segments, and aggressive scaling during peak election cycles.
Results

Momentum peaked during the campaign's final phase, with nearly 18 million views in a single day (Nov 7) and 1.2 million views in the last 48 hours — demonstrating sustained virality rather than short-term spikes.

The lower 50% household income group delivered 17.6M impressions and over 140K clicks, proving highly responsive to welfare-focused messaging. Non-parent audiences drove the highest per-segment engagement at 230K+ clicks, while parent audiences ensured broad electorate coverage.

Top-performing videos crossed 6.5M+ organic views, reinforcing credibility and sustaining engagement beyond paid pushes — establishing JD(U)'s digital dominance throughout the election cycle.
